Frazil acquires Alligator Ice, strengthening its nationwide frozen beverage footprint and boosting its convenience store channel presence.

USA – Frazil, the largest slush brand in the United States, has acquired Alligator Ice, a leading frozen drink company with a significant footprint in convenience stores nationwide.
The acquisition underscores Frazil’s continued expansion across multiple channels, including convenience stores, entertainment venues, quick-service and limited-service restaurants (QSRs/LSRs), and educational institutions.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Alligator Ice, a Missouri-based, family-owned business, brings more than two decades of experience in the frozen beverage industry and a presence in over 10,000 convenience store locations nationwide.
The company is known for its extensive range of flavors and high-touch retailer support that has helped make frozen beverages a profitable category for its partners.
Kyle Freebairn, CEO of Frazil, said the acquisition builds on Alligator Ice’s established market strength. “Welcoming the Alligator Ice team into the Frazil team represents an exciting step forward as we continue to expand our portfolio and deliver even greater value to our retail partners and customers nationwide,” he stated.
Russ Warner from Alligator Ice said the move strengthens their mission of supporting retail partners in the frozen beverage category. “Becoming part of Frazil strengthens that mission and gives us the ability to expand our reach and impact across the frozen beverage category,” he noted.
The acquisition opens new opportunities for pairing Alligator Ice’s retail expertise with Frazil’s scale and innovation, increasing the potential for growth across diverse market segments.
This announcement follows Frazil’s recent acquisition of the equipment and customer accounts of Berkeley Street Beverage, a Southern California-based frozen beverage provider with more than 20 years of regional expertise.
This strategic purchase enhances Frazil’s ability to directly serve more customers in Southern California and strengthens its reach in one of the country’s most dynamic frozen beverage markets.
With the Berkeley Street Beverage asset acquisition, Frazil will assume direct responsibility for all acquired accounts, ensuring uninterrupted service and a smooth transition for customers.
Together, these moves demonstrate Frazil’s commitment to expanding its nationwide frozen beverage presence and reinforcing its leadership in the U.S. market.
