Greenvit launches Aronvit aronia extract in United States

Aronvit is produced through Greenvit’s proprietary PureGreenLine® process, which combines cold-water extraction with multi-step membrane filtration to preserve nutrient integrity.

USA – Polish plant extract producer Greenvit has officially launched its standardized Aronvit® aronia extract in the United States, supported by recent human study results highlighting its benefits for metabolic and cardiovascular health

The expansion marks a key step for the family-owned company as it establishes a stronger presence in the North American nutraceutical market.

To support the U.S. rollout, Greenvit has opened a new headquarters and warehouse in Voorhees, New Jersey, ensuring faster and more efficient distribution to customers across the region.

The company also plans to showcase Aronvit and other Green Label Botanicals at the upcoming SupplySide West trade show in Las Vegas from October 27–30, 2025.

Produced from the Nero-Eggert variety of aronia berries, developed by Polish cultivation expert Piotr Eggert, Aronvit is standardized for high concentrations of polyphenols (25%), including anthocyanins (15%) and proanthocyanidins (10%).

It also provides vitamins C, E, and K, along with minerals such as iron and calcium.

The variety is prized for its rich phytonutrient profile, short bush height, and strong disease resistance, making it well-suited for organic farming in Poland’s “green lungs” region.

Aronvit is produced through Greenvit’s proprietary PureGreenLine® process, which combines cold-water extraction with multi-step membrane filtration to preserve nutrient integrity.

The method eliminates solvents and additives and operates on a zero-waste basis, upcycling the remaining pulp and running on solar energy with a closed-loop water system to minimize environmental impact.

According to Rafal Pietruszyński, CEO of Greenvit, “Our long-standing dedication to aronia cultivation and scientific research has earned Aronvit a reference position in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) as a U.S. monograph for aronia extract. We are proud to be an official partner of the USP Donor Recognition Program.”

Aronia berries, members of the Rosaceae family, are native to North America but have become a major crop in Poland, which now accounts for more than 80% of global production.

The fruit, often called “Polish black gold,” has one of the highest antioxidant capacities among berries, measured by its ORAC score.

Research has linked aronia to benefits in blood flow, inflammation reduction, and immune modulation, with emerging evidence supporting its use in sports nutrition and metabolic health.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Zambrów, Poland, Greenvit produces high-quality, standardized botanical extracts for food, dietary supplements, and cosmetic applications.

Beyond aronia, its portfolio includes elderberry, bilberry, lemon balm, sage, thyme, nettle, hops, and white mulberry, all developed under the company’s commitment to clean-label, traceable sourcing.
