Luckin Coffee opens 100th Singapore store

Luckin Coffee’s Singapore expansion has reached a new milestone, with the Chinese chain strengthening its local presence through product localisation and continued store growth.

SINGAPORE – Chinese coffee chain Luckin Coffee has opened its 100th store in Singapore, making the city-state its second-largest market by store count as the company expands its international footprint.

The new outlet is located in Bugis, a major transport hub with a diverse and youthful customer base. Luckin launched its international operations in Singapore in 2023 and has since established more than 100 stores in the market.

“Choosing Singapore to begin our international journey was no easy decision, yet three years on, this choice has paid off in ways we are deeply proud of,” said David Li, chairman of Luckin Coffee.

Luckin has introduced more than 130 products in Singapore, including locally exclusive pandan, brown sugar and Milo series. Its Coconut Latte and Little Butter Latte have each exceeded two million cups in cumulative local sales.

The company said its Singapore workforce has grown to more than 860 employees. NG Ming Liang of Global Enterprises at the Singapore Economic Development Board welcomed the expansion and its employment contribution.

“We are heartened to see Luckin deepen its presence in Singapore, creating job opportunities and contributing to the community,” he said.

“As Luckin grows as an international brand, we look forward to working closely with the company to strengthen Singapore’s role as a key hub supporting its global growth ambitions,” NG added.

Global expansion

Luckin now operates more than 38,000 stores across China, Singapore, Malaysia and the United States. The company has served more than 500 million customers globally, according to its latest announcement.

The Singapore milestone comes after Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment agreed earlier this month to make a strategic minority investment in Luckin Coffee in a transaction valued at about $1 billion.

Luckin reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of RMB15.86 billion ($2.33 billion), up 28.5% year on year. Revenue from self-operated stores reached RMB11.56 billion ($1.70 billion), while partnership stores generated RMB3.67 billion ($539.5 million).

Li said Singapore had strengthened the company’s confidence in expanding internationally, adding that Luckin would continue developing its presence in the market while pursuing its global growth strategy.
